Remarks |
i. Foreigners who have stayed
over six month in Korea are not classified as foreign investors. As
a result, they are able to open KRW accounts without being required
to receive investment ID issued by the Korean government. At the same
time, they are not allowed to open foreign currency denominated accounts.
ii. Suject to the same tax rate as the one applied to domestic investors.
